The Guernsey Registry is based in the Market Building and holds information on all companies registered in Guernsey. The Registry processes the information provided in accordance with the Companies Law.
Company directors are legally required to submit certain types of information in accordance with the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008 and keep this data up to date i.e registered office details, company directors and shareholders etc.
The Guernsey Registry ensures that basic information regarding Guernsey registered companies is made available to the general public.
The Guernsey Registry has an online portal where all company information can be controlled either by the business owners or their CSP. The Guernsey Registry portal can be accessed via the following web link.
The Guernsey Registry portal is typically used for filing company annual validations, registering directors, changing registered office address and other resolutions of the company.
The individuals at the Guernsey Registry are very helpful and knowledgeable and are able to help with using the portal. Alternatively, using a CSP means that you do not need to deal directly with the Guernsey Registry and that you only need one point of contact in relation to your Company’s books and records.
Company documents can also be filed by hand by visiting the Guernsey Registry in person however filing fees are usually £10 more to cover the administration costs.
A corporate services provider such as ‘Go-Corporate’ is able to do all your company filings on your behalf to ensure your company is kept in good standing and your books are in order.
